Privacy

Any products of new media that allows people to create profiles where its then shared among other users in the community always has issues with privacy and confidentiality because there are open back doors that outside people can get a hold of your information, which makes social networks like Facebook, twitter, snapchat, and instgram look bad.

  1. Privacy is such a huge issue because people have become so comfortable with exposing their personal information without thinking that there are people dedicated to spying and lurking. Most social networking sites also tend to mark your location, which people tend to forget. Even with the privacy options available, there are always loop-holes to them. Because so many people use new media, it would be difficult for techs company to keep privacy and confidentiality up to date.

Blogs vs Wiki
