AI stock picking machines that will work on algorithms which will produce projections of stock whether to buy or sell or hold a stock.These projections will be based on data and information by social media, news, company valuations and other sources. I imagine this product to imitate Amazon's Alexa or Google's Echo and use language to communicate with the machine.

  1. How do you feel your form of new media will affect the jobs of stock brokers? Will investors need to go through a human stock broker anymore? I think if your new media takes off, all investors would have to do would be buy a machine. Do you think this would make all the finance degrees from our college obsolete?

According to Wikipedia, "Blogs  differs from Wikis by  the content that is created without any defined owner or leader, and wikis have little implicit structure, allowing structure to emerge according to the needs of the users."  The way I understand the difference is looking at Wikis as a page that is constantly edited for accuracy on a subjective topic, while blogs are a thread of ideas of individuals giving their opinions across a platform such Reddit.  

Creativity and New Media

Here is my so-called, "Bitmoji" which associated with Snapchat the disappearing image sender.  I downloaded the Bimoji app and started to customize my avatar by going through an array of selections such as gender, hair style, facial structure, clothes, skin color, eye size, and I also was able to position my Bitmoji holding a drink by choosing from a selection of other styles and positions. Now I can use this instead of a traditional emoji.  I am sure most students would upload their Bitmjoi on their assignment as its the most trending in the avatar circle.

Modeling Reality with Virtual Worlds

These different virtual worlds can be used in a few atmospheres such as social, gaming, and healthcare.  In the New York Times, Dave Itzkoff says he was able to leave the jam-packed club and enter it virtually when he arrived home, almost like Grand Theft Auto, except its way more realistic.  One problem that I foresee is that virtual reality becoming too addicting for introverts or those who are just lazy to go out and enjoy the natural sunlight, which would then lead an even higher increase in obesity.  However, there are some benefits to virtual reality as well like connecting with an old college classmate that's now in Europe while you're still in the U.S.  In addition, this might be good for disabled people who don't have the mobility to travel from place to place.
